Up for auction is a Vet Bring back DWM World War One Imperial German Navy Luger. No import marks. Receiver, barrel, frame and small parts are matching numbers “3076”, toggle and associated parts are numbered “32”. Barrel and frame are dated 1917. No numbers on the grips or the magazine, but both appear to be period correct. Frame and barrel show proof marks of the Imperial German Navy. DWM stamped on the toggle which includes a Navy Luger rear sight. Rear Navy sight is marked for 100 and 200 yards. The finish on the gun is original and in fair/worn condition, see detailed photos. Barrel still shows some rifling but is worn, see pictures for details. This Navy Luger looks like it spent some time on a ship but it is not unit marked so hard to tell. Comes with a 1917 leather T. Thomasson & Co holster. Leather is in great condition for its age.
